Emirates Loves India brings grand cultural showcase for 60,000 revellers
DUBAI – Diwali in Dubai is about to get dazzling. The city’s Zabeel Park is gearing up for what’s being called the UAE’s biggest Diwali celebration, set to draw over 60,000 people on October 26.
Organised under the banner “Emirates Loves India” and supported by the UAE Government Media Office, the event will be a vibrant cultural celebration for the Indian community, featuring free entry, live concerts, traditional showcases and a carnival-like atmosphere from 2pm to 11pm.
The highlight of the evening will be power-packed performances by Bollywood stars Neha Kakkar and Mika Singh.
They will be joined by South Indian actor and rapper Neeraj Madhav and sarangi maestro Nabeel Khan.
Cultural parades, folk dances, and interactive experiences will add colour and energy throughout the park.
Visitors can enter through Gates 1 and 3, where the festive spirit begins from the first step in. Organisers expect crowds from across the UAE’s Indian diaspora, reflecting the deep bond between India and the Emirates.
Adding to the significance, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will attend as chief guest, alongside diplomats, business leaders, and community representatives.
Diwali in Dubai
Expect a slice of India in the heart of Dubai. The event will feature eight cultural stalls representing different Indian states and over 30 food counters serving regional favourites – from chaat and biryani to sweets and street snacks. A dedicated kids’ zone, traditional folk performances, and handicraft exhibitions promise a full-day celebration for families.
Photo booths, cultural displays and a parade by the Indian People’s Forum (IPF) will make the experience even more immersive. Influencers and creators from the Indian community will also participate, adding a social buzz to the festivities.
